I fabbed up another pair of gloves. I went with a bit lighter stain this time which resulted in a pretty cool rust color. I also left the reinforced area in the palm un-stained in order to give it a two tone look. I also added a pull loop.

That's amazing I think it would be sweet to be able to do that

Those are amazing. I want some, too.

So now that you have made us all jealous of your wizardry skills, when are you going to offer to make them for the rest of us?
![]() 07/23/2016 at 23:53 |

Soon. I want to fully test these out to make sure they aren't crap, then I'll probably offer some up.

I want to fully test out the ones I've made so far to work out any kinks, then I'll let you guys know. I'm going to experiment with different designs too.

Thanks!

Thanks! I softened them with mink oil, so thy are pretty comfy.

They look amazing! How do you make them? Maybe you could do an article...

Those look fantastic - I’m a sucker for work stuff like this that’s as functional / comfortable as it is beautiful.
These look like a winner!

Thanks! I'm going to make sure these ones hold up then maybe I'll do a write up on them.

Thanks! I am too which is why I made them. I searched around for something like these and couldn't find anything, so I made my own.

They’re stunning :) very impressed!
How did you go about making them?
![]() 07/24/2016 at 07:35 |

Oh, seriously?? I was just stating that I thought they were pretty awesome, not implying that you start a production run for us!

I’m not on oppo much, but let me know if you decide to manufacture some!

What are the gloves you started with?

Thanks! Here’s the first pair I made. I give a little description of the general process in this post.

I've had a couple of guys say they want some, so we will see. I'm going to make one more and see how cheap I'd be able to sell them for. A local moto club has expressed some interest too.

Will do.

Thanks man :) shall have a look through now

These started life as a pair of Wells Lamont. I'm going to see if I picked them because of the clean look on the back and the reinforced palm.

I love them, and I’d also be interested in a pair...
Considered a pull “hole” as opposed to a tab? I like these, but like the length of your design more. Best of both worlds?
![]() 07/24/2016 at 15:20 |

I like that. I might try it on the first pair I made as I left the cuff a lot thicker.

Cool! I thought it might be a good option since you just strategically “remove” material, rather than adding something to the cuff.
Could be cool with a hole on both top and bottom of the cuff?
Can’t wait to see them, and also send you the monies for a pair of XLs!

Yeah, I was thinking two holes that way they aren't as stretched. I could put some stitching around them for reinforcement too. Once I fully test these ones out I'll let you guys know about buying a set. I'll probably set up an Etsy shop or something similar.
